Acura Aligning Itself with Luxury Thanks to Partnership, Sweepstakes with W Hotels at 2013 NYIAS

It’s no secret that Acura has revamped its quest to hang neck-and-neck with the big boys in the luxury vehicle segment of the automotive industry —Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, etc. In order to further associate itself with luxury, the brand has formed a partnership with W Hotels that makes Acura the preferred vehicle of the luxury hotel chain.

As part of the ongoing partnership, during the 2013 New York International Auto Show Acura and W Hotels will be giving away an all-expenses-paid, weeklong trip. Contestants can enter to win by visiting one of the Connected Living kiosks at the Javits Center or the Acura Concierge at the Acura booth.

The winner of the “Ultimate Whatever/Whenever Experience” will win a weeklong stay at any W Hotel in the U.S. or Canada, round-trip airfare, spending cash and an Acura to get around. The winner will also receive a “collection of W essentials.”

All W Hotel locations in the U.S. offer “The Acura Experience,” a complimentary service that allows a guest to reserve a ride in a seven-passenger MDX. As guests are driven to their local destinations, they experience the luxury, performance and technology featured in the MDX. The guests of W Hotels are possibly introduced to the Acura brand for the first time, opening up a new marketing channel for Acura.

The ongoing partnership of Acura and W Hotels attracts new clients for the automaker and for the hotel chain. Current Acura owners can book a one-night stay at any W Hotel in the U.S. and receive a 10 percent discount on the current room rate, plus complimentary WiFi service and 1,000 Starpoints for Starwood Preferred Guests.
