Mercedes-Benz debuted the AMG performance version of its all-new entry-level model at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. The CLA45 AMG features the most powerful production four-cylinder engine in the world, a turbocharged engine packed with 360 horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque that produces an impressive 0 to 60 time of 4.6 seconds.
The other performance vehicle making its debut in New York was the E63 AMG S-Model 4Matic Wagon. This is obviously not your typical family station wagon, as it boasts 577 horsepower, 590 lb.-ft. of torque, and a 0 to 60 time of 3.6 seconds, making it more powerful than a Porsche 911 Turbo S or a Ferrari 458 Italia.
Mercedes-Benz rounded out its performance-based debuts with an environmentally friendly one, revealing its all-new fully electric B-Class Electric Drive model.
The three aforementioned debuted models are currently on display in New York alongside the full lineup of Mercedes-Benz models.
