During the week leading up to the 2013 New York International Auto Show, The Driving Life will focus on the big news to expect from automakers, including vehicle launches and model updates.
The next generation of the Chevrolet Camaro will be making its highly anticipated debut at the 2013 New York International Auto Show. With just a few days to go until the show, General Motors is driving the anticipation with a teaser photo of the vehicle posted on the GM website.
“The 2014 model represents the most significant change for the fifth-generation Camaro, which has been the most popular sports car in America for three consecutive years,” read the official teaser press release. “The new Camaro will be joined by the all-new Corvette Stingray and Chevrolet SS performance sedan, completing the line of new performance vehicles Chevrolet will offer for 2014.”
No other details were listed, but you can expect a much sleeker exterior design with an upgraded interior. There are also rumors of a 7.0-liter LS7 V-8 engine option, as well as GM’s new twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6, which will debut with the 2014 Cadillac CTS.
The 2014 Camaro will debut during the General Motors press conference at 12:45 p.m., Eastern, Wednesday, March 27 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
